Quintalegre which when translated means 'Happy Farmhouse' can
be found at the top of a quiet country lane which is lined with orange,
lime, lemon and pomegranate trees.
Set within ten acres Quintalegre is a traditional Portuguese farm house
that still retains its original charm with its beamed ceilings interwoven
with bamboo, complete with air-conditioning to keep the rooms cool during
the summer months.
The farmhouse has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, including
beautifully tiled en-suite bathrooms, new bedroom furniture, lovely leather
sofas, and a fantastic hand made oak kitchen. Quintalegre is fully air-conditioned,
and for the cooler times of the year has gas central heating thoughout.
